I could start out my day by saying I have to work today. I have to exercise and do my back stretches. I have to go grocery shopping.
But I’m choosing to turn this all around with the simple substitution of one verb.
Today I get to work and write and make a living doing what I love to do.
Today I get to practice yoga to become more flexible and enjoy all the benefits it brings to my body and my mind.
Okay, the grocery part is hard because it is a total drag going to the store, but when I’m done, I get to prepare fresh food and spend time with my husband while we enjoy a quiet dinner together.
Just one little verb can make such a difference. What do you get to do today?
